The FAR is complete with a glossary of commonly used terms put forth in solicitations and contracts issued and authorized by the United States of America. It also indicates cross-references of where the definition can be found throughout the FAR.
Definitions of terms listed are the same throughout the FAR unless otherwise noted in its various parts, subparts and sections. This part lists all instances of varying definitions throughout its text.
This subpart is a primary example of two facts: 1). the government gives you all the answers, and 2). you just need to know where to look for them. Both of those truths can appear to be a hidden treasure.
